Michelle — founder of Isla Palmer, and mom to Isla, the little muse behind it all.

After nearly a decade as a fashion buyer, becoming a mother shifted everything. It led me to create something more meaningful — a brand rooted in care, intention, and timeless design.

Growing up on South Africa’s West Coast, the ocean has always been part of my story. Now, watching my own child discover the water, I’m reminded how important it is for little ones to feel both free and safe.

Isla Palmer was born from that space — swim vests designed with safety at their core, made to move with your child, and created to be worn, loved, and passed on.
